I recommend this class for anyone interested in having a great digital portfolio. The teacher is also going to let students kind of make what they want out of the class, as well.
What this means is that if you aren't really interested in the portfolio and branding applications of using After Effects, augmented reality, and other programs and skills, you can still structure what you do and learn toward something you are more interested in--say, animation...
If you don't know the power of After Effects or how cool augmented reality is, do a Google or YouTube search.

Animation, etc. Infosession

Infosession featuring representatives from GrassHorse and Budcat. Topics will include animation, game design, and visual effects, and pursuing careers in this area. The infosession begins at 12:00pm in room 1609 at Studio Arts.
